IOMAX delivers AT-802i Block 4 upgrade to the Royal Jordanian Air Force

IOMAX USA, a North Carolina aerospace engineering and aircraft integration company, was honored to host Jordan’s Brigadier General Mohammad Fathi Hiyasat, Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, during an official aircraft delivery ceremony at its aircraft facility in Mooresvllle, North Carolina on 21 October. Brigadier General Hiyasat travelled from Amman, Jordan to accept IOMAX’s first Block 4 AT-8021 upgraded Border Patrol Aircraft (BPA), which includes IOMAX’s most advanced Strike Package.

Local, county, and state officials were in attendance to welcome Brigadier General Hiyasat and other members of the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

Brigadier General Hiyasat is an experienced combat pilot who has logged numerous flight hours in the Royal Jordanian Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon. He praised the technical expertise of the IOMAX integration team expressing his appreciation fer the excellent performance of the IOMAX BPA and emphasizing the importance of the aircraft as “needed tools to maintain our national security, and to support our partners and allies in the region.”

IOMAX’s partnership with the Royal Jordanian Air Force began in 2014 when the United Arab Emirates transferred six IOMAX AT-802 Block 2 Border Patrol Aircraft to the Kingdom of Jordan.
